Hi! We're the Dimmick family, and we're the founders of VividMemoirs. I'm Jeanne, and as an award-winning writer and non-profit executive, I've spent my life communicating with others with excellence. After having a blast interviewing hundreds of amazing retirees in a previous job, I developed a passion to see people record their life stories on video. Until now, the only way for someone to create a "personal video biography" was to hire a documentarian to follow him or her around for days - prices ranged from $1,500 to $30,000! To make such a treasure affordable to everyone, I spent a few years researching and building the automation for VividMemoirs, where users can create their life story movies from the comfort of their own homes. My husband Darrin--a software developer--added a few hi-tech touches, and the older children lent a hand on some of the modern video editing techniques.
